1500 South - Naples

We visited this restaurant for a drink and some light food options.

For the past few years, my extended family from both sides has chosen to meet in Naples to celebrate holidays, as it is conveniently located halfway for everyone.

The food at this restaurant was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the taste did not live up to expectations. We began with the calamari, which was tasty and had a nice kick to it. However, my husband's filet was ordered medium rare but came out medium well, and my snapper was overcooked despite being a sizable portion. It seemed that the restaurant was run by the resort, and while it may be suitable for room service, it fell short as a fine dining option.

I really wanted to love this place but I think the food was tasty but a bit over cooked.

Went there last Friday night March I think and was one of four parties in the restaurant. Carona virusHad a grilled shrimp appetizer which was good but the shrimp was slightly overcooked, I ordered veal chop it was excellent or a bit of wild mushroom risotto with green beans YumThe outdoor dining overlooking the marina was really special, will be back again. Ps The server from Croatia it was nice but not well trained, he needs to put his listening ears on
