I had an exceptional lunch at Zarephath Wines in the Porongurups. We arrived at noon and stayed until late, enjoying a delicious meal of twice-cooked lamb and bush honey panna cotta. To top it off, we shared a limited-edition bottle of Chardonnay with the owners, Rosie and Ian. The warmth and generosity we experienced in rural Australia made me feel incredibly privileged. The stunning views of the vines and Mt Manypeaks will stay with me forever. It was truly a memorable day. Thank you!

The drive off the main road is worth it to visit Zarepath Winery and Cafe. Don't be discouraged if the sign says "cafe full" - when we arrived, we were offered the next available table and even given a complimentary wine tasting. The tasting included a variety of wines and we enjoyed it overlooking the pond and vineyard. We ordered a tasting platter, which was perfect for two, along with a delicious rose. The local produce was of great quality. They even offered complimentary sparkling water, making the experience even better. We would definitely return and were happy to purchase a half dozen wines to take home and give as gifts.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, the wine and food were delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing lunch. The view of the winery grounds added to the tranquil setting. We were even greeted by friendly dogs at our table. The desserts were particularly fantastic. We also had the convenience of having our wine delivered to our door since we were staying at Cloud Spa Chalets nearby.

I visited this winery earlier in the week with a group of friends as we had been walking in the Porongurups and Zarephath had been recommended to us. It was delightful! As it was a weekday the cafe wasn't open but that was fine as...we had our lunches with us, although I'm sure Rosie would have certainly helped out if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with Ian, particularly the Pinot Noir and Riesling and a number of purchases were made. The beautiful property, the fabulous views and the hospitality of Rosie and Ian were second to none. I look forward to returning.

My husband and I were in search of lunch on our drive after the Bluff Knoll cafe was closed. I saw the cafe online and decided to roll the dice and hope they could accommodate us. We arrived and apologised for not booking ahead, and...the owners happily accommodated is with a beautiful wine tasting, a delicious tasting platter and scrumptious desserts. The owners had a wonderful sense of humour (my husband doesn’t enjoy wine, however I do) and provided us with a lovely, relaxed lunch, in a beautiful setting and every dining expectation surpassed.
