Ellie's Deli - Naperville

The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent! The chicken salad was incredible!

My husband and I recently dined at Ellie's for the first time, and it was absolutely fantastic! Ellie's daughter provided us with great recommendations and explained the menu thoroughly. She was incredibly helpful. As for the food, it was delicious! We shared a Brazilian steak and a Philly cheesecake, and both dishes were outstanding. The handmade chips were quite tasty as well. We've definitely found our new favorite lunch spot, and I appreciate that it's a small, family-owned business.

As a retired chef with 15 years of experience in restaurants, I’ve faced the pressures that come with busy rushes, where customers assume they'll be served quickly. I often wish it were that simple, but it rarely is. The challenges have only intensified with COVID-19 and a significant shortage of staff willing to accept the demands of the restaurant industry. I believe it’s crucial for all of us to manage our expectations and show a little compassion towards these businesses and the people working hard to meet customer demands during such unprecedented times. If we could just call ahead, it would not only save time but also ease the pressure on everyone involved. I will definitely be returning to Ellie's Deli and will express my gratitude for their service and ongoing efforts to stay in business.

I recently placed a catering order for boxed lunches for a work engagement. Everything went extremely smoothly and the recipients of the boxed lunches said everything was delicious (especially the orzo salad). The catering manager also followed up with me a few days later to ask how everything went. Thank you Ellie's Deli for a great first experience. I will definitely order for future events!

I've been going to Ellie's for a little more than a year now, and they never disappoint. It's a great place, and is run by a very nice family who genuinely want their customers to be happy. Can't recommend highly enough.
