The food is excellent. To enhance your dining experience, I recommend ordering dishes from the dim sum cart alongside the à la carte options for a better balance in service. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Morimoto Asia Napa:
Don't expect the same level of quality as you would find at other Morimoto-branded restaurants. While the M-Asia name is prominently featured, the dining experience doesn't live up to the standards of an Iron Chef. The execution is poor, and the dishes lack finesse. It feels like sesame oil is the dominant ingredient, overwhelming several of the dishes. Overall, it's quite disappointing and not worth the price. View all feedback.
The food was decent, but nothing particularly impressive about the house special fried chicken. On the bright side, the basil fried rice was quite flavorful. The short rib ramen had good taste, but it didn’t justify the $55 price tag. The noise level was terrible; the tables along the wall are too close together, making it hard to avoid hearing every conversation around us. Fortunately, the service was excellent, and the staff kindly moved us to another table due to the unbearable noise. I could barely hear the person sitting across from me. The green tea tres leches was fantastic, but the passion fruit-orange-guava sorbet was extremely tart, and we couldn’t finish it. Overall, I don't think I would return; it felt like just another average Asian restaurant to me.
We love Morimoto Asia! The food is outstanding, and the service is fantastic.
We had a wonderful dinner—the food was excellent! The service was a little slow, but we still had a great time. I would definitely return. The lobster pad thai was fabulous!
First of all, how is it possible that the chef would run out of a Morimoto signature dish! We sat down at our 6:30pm rez ordered the Gyoza app, was delish. Ordered chili chicken and crispy rice, waiter was very pleasant, always smiling and willing to listen. He takes our order and comes back to our table and says no sticky rice I 'm sorry. What a disaster! Would the iron chef let such a thing happen, I was shocked. The waiter substituted a recommended basil fried rice option that I found boring not attractive and very bland. The chicken was moist tasted ok but I 've had much better in Vallejo at 3 Star for half the fare. If it was not for the kindness of the waite staff, this review would warrant one star for location. Still don 't understand the memorialized columns out front, chef has made a name for himself, he should think about keeping it.
Service was a little slow, bar could not make a drink I asked for had to settle for something else , drinks were simple drinks , waiter was not very good
