Loveski Deli - Napa

The smoked salmon on a bagel was legit. I 'm originally from NJ so I know my bagels. Sadly the babka I ordered was stale, over baked, and tiny. Maybe only order that early in the day. Otherwise, *chefs kiss*

The turkey sandwich was a poor excuse of a sandwich especially at $18.00 I wouldn't pay $8.00 for it. And even worse coming from a self proclaimed Jewish deli??? Go back to New York and start again. Soggy lettuce, very little turkey, the bread was soggy, fries were cold...

The latkes were tasty, and both the Reuben and brisket were quite enjoyable. However, what was served as mashed potatoes turned out to be more like a thin soup—absolutely dreadful and unappetizing. The coleslaw was so heavily salted that it was also inedible. On the bright side, the cookie was excellent. Overall, this meal was a mix of highs and significant lows.

The Smoked Salmon Sandwich was incredible. I added tomato to mine, and it was perfect. I also tried the Matzoh Ball Soup with extra herbs and spices, and it was much better than the plain version. I was concerned it might be overwhelming with lemongrass, but it wasn't at all. It's a bit pricey, especially for Napa, but I will definitely return.

Without a doubt, this is the BEST hand-carved turkey sandwich I've ever had! The matzo ball soup was fantastic—unlike some others I've tried, which were quite bland. This one was packed with flavor. The five mini potato latkes were delicious as well. I'll definitely be coming back!
