Cru Tasting Lounge - Napa

WOW!!! What a treat, this tasting room is excellent. Demarcus was our host and we couldn't ask for more. The focus of the tasting room is on the Vineyard 29's second portfolio CRU these wines NOT disappointing and for the price point I wanted to buy everything we tasted (my wife didn't want to leave me, LOL). Demarcus was absolutely outstanding and extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the valley. He took his time with us and always went so gracious through the wines, the wine making process etc. and answered all the questions we had. Vineyard 29 is very happy to have such a warm-hearted young man whose passion for wine is to be felt! We travel to Napa at least 3 times a year and don't know why we didn't get past Vineyard 29. We'll be back. I recommend CRU, vineyard 29 AND Demarcus! Thanks again!

I am a native in napa. cru was recommended by a friend. the disappointment experience as a whole was simply okay, and that a personal poured around five parties. overpriced tasting and tasting, we had to buy six bottles - ridiculous for locals. the positive is that the tasting room is a large space and adjacent to the Oxbow market.

Damarcus was absolutely accommodating and knowledgeable. we booked our reservation last min (20 fails) as most of our reservations cancelled us due to the air quality. he took the time to explain the weeping and the weeping. my wife and I celebrated 20 years ago and could not have asked for a better experience. many kudos to him! damarcus was also very on the top of cleaning and sanitizing with all new Kovid guidelines that made us feel so comfortable. the weeps were absolutely delicious and we have bought more than our bottle share to enjoy again in our hotel while we are here the rest of the week. I would recommend cru and damarcus if they are in the napa valley. a hidden gem in the did! we will be back.

Damarcus was such an incredible host! we tasted amazing weine from the cru and vineyard 29 collection and could not be impressed anymore. also during the kovid was Damarcus’s attention and no longer knowing. cheers to cru for our 9-year anniversary one for the books!
