The salads are fresh and filling, and the burger is described as oozing with yummy goodness. The menu is creative, but some items may not be the latest version. Despite this, the intentions are good and the effort is honest, even if it doesn't exceed expectations. The mussels, tuna tartare, and steak had sauces and flavorings that were overly rich and sweet. The view from the patio overlooking the lake or pond in the distance is very nice. The smoked salmon for breakfast was fresh and tasty, although the bagel was standard. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, providing a perfect breakfast experience. The team service was great, with perfectly timed courses and attentive support staff. This is a fantastic restaurant for a date night, with amazing food and attentive service. Located in downtown Napa, this delicious restaurant offers indoor or outdoor seating with a great view. Everything on the menu is amazing, with lamb meatballs being a standout. The staff is very attentive, providing a pleasant dining experience. The kids' buffet provided a great selection for children. Although some dishes like the swordfish and the filet with zucchini and squash medley were a bit lackluster, the overall experience was saved by an excellent waiter. The noise level at Basalt is perfect for conversation, and the food is great at a fair price. Perfect for a night out with friends, new or old, with recommendations already given and plans to return in the future.

Absolutely terrible service that almost ruined our last night in Napa. Didn’t even get to the food it was so bad. Manager was also terrible. I have never been so negative about a review but it was horrible.
I have zero complaints. If it's warm enough sit outside and enjoy the view. The food is delicious. My husband said the burger was the best he's ever had. I got the scallops based off of our waiters recommendation and they were delicious. The portions arejust the right amount so you still have room for dessert. Very attentive staff.
Tasty restaurant! Located in downtown Napa, this place is great looking and full of tasty food. You can pick outdoor or indoor seating, enjoy either the riverside or the well decorated restaurant. Everything we tried on the menu amazed us! My favoritesurprise was lamb meatballs. The sauce they lay beneath the meatballs is delicious!! Definitely worth a shot!
One of our favorite places to pop in for apps and a drink. Must have the carmalized brussel sprouts with bacon. Yummmmmmm!
