The Amuse Bouche they brought us was amazing (Oyster-based) and then I had the oysters as a duck. They were really fresh and delicious. Both my husband and I had one of the fish dishes for dinner, and it was excellent. The best part of the meal, however, was the chocolate bar with raspberry sorbet. My husband announced that it was the best he had eaten on our whole trip. Really extraordinary.

Foods of the highest quality and ambience traditional, but with a modern interpretation. Go here when in Nantes.

Decided to have only main desert, which apparently didn 't qualify us for bread or a 'starter '. Mains arrived, (still had to ask for bread) mine looked sad and reheated (harsh but true), but the Turbot was cooked perfectly, except the skin was limp and un-chewable!!. My Wife 's Challibaund was terrific and looked it, same for her desert. My desert however was 3 slices of the same cheese with bread Denis Lillie, John Snow or Big Bird would have been proud to bounce out the opposition. Unusual for a place so recommended. Maybe a bad day, but we won 't be back. Ahh, the fish tank you say? Waiting to pay I noticed the green spots on the glass and black edges to the leaves in the water. If I had noticed these first I would have apologised and gone elsewhere. All this and expensive.
