We stopped at the bakery to buy sandwiches. The staff is very kind and gives good advice. There is a wide choice of sandwiches at reasonable prices. We recommend !

Bakery which allows you to have lunch on site, numerous choices of pastries, large and small (the madeleines are to die for)

This bakery has homemade bread, like most bakeries in France. It's not the best in Nantes but very descent. There is a large choice of individual cakes and 'viennoiseries'. You can have a basic tea or coffee from their machine. There is a few tables so you can have your lunch, morning tea or afternoon tea there, especially if the weather is bad on the nearby esplanade where the elephant does its tour. A good place to stop, especially on the part of the island of Nantes where there is not much yet.

Les produits sont bons, sauf les desserts au chocolat. J'ai testé le brownie, le muffin, le fondant. Aucun n'a le goût de chocolat. En dehors de ça, l'amabilité n'est pas au rendez-vous. La patronne ne veut pas de paiement réparti sur deux moyens (même si l'un est du liquide). Ils viennent en plus de ça d'ajouter un minimum sur l'utilisation de la carte Ticket Restaurant, de 6 euros. Impossible pour aller prendre le pain avant de rentrer, ou son petit déj.
