What User doesn't like about Umai Sushi:
Went recently with my two small kids as they requested sushi. I realize it's not a typical kid-friendly restaurant but I still found it weird how they dropped off our food but expected the kids to eat the noodle dish with chop sticks. Really friendly, attentive staff. super cute and clean interieur, love the cherry blossom trees! delicious eating, many vegetarian/ vegan options, I love the veggie lunch box and it is a great deal for all foods they get. also good to roll. Note: miso is made with fish stock.

Between 11:30 AM to 3 PM the lunch box special is a great deal for $13.99 and they have an entire sushi to go area. However I would only buy it during lunch hour as the rice could become slightly hard during dinner time. The prices and food quality is good but the sushi rolls are a bit small.
We tried Umai on the recommendation from a friend after having a terrible experience at another sushi place in town. The staff at Umai were all very friendly and our takeout order was ready in a timely manner. Tasted delicious and we will definitely be back!
