I visited a bustling restaurant and ordered a standard pita. When it was my turn, the woman preparing my pita struggled to close it, so she attempted a second one, but it was still not right. Eventually, I requested a bowl instead, and I was offered some rice to go with it. I was really pleased with the outcome. I am originally from Toronto and have been to many locations within the GTA. I used to love Pita Pit. Tried this location for the first time and it was nothing like I remembered. So amazing, everytime I go to Nanaimo I have to get a Gyro pita. Delicious!!!
I miss Pita Pit being all over the country. I often drive from Victoria to Nanaimo just to have lunch here.

Pita pit used to be one of my go to’s after doing my shopping at save on. The girls at the Nanaimo location were absolutely horrible tonight. We walked in and they were to busy talking to help us. When we finally got our order through and started adding everything to our wraps they DROWNED my wrap in hot sauce! I asked the blonde girl with huge fake lashes to pass me the wrap and a napkin so I could wipe some out.. I don’t know what she does in her spare time but I DO NOT want to drink hot sauce out of my wrap. She turned to another girl and started complaining about me then took out most of what was in it. My wrap broke in the process and she left stuff falling out the side of it because of the huge hole she left behind while being so careless. People like this should not work in customer service. Very disappointing.
