The vault is a restaurant in an old bank with funky decor. they order at the counter, take a number and eat is brought to their table. while the vegan options are limited, their sandwich board has always a choice that is vegan or can be made vegan. I chose the veggie sandwich with zucchini, tomaten, arugula, marinara and smoked tofu (from the non-vegan pesto). the thin slices of smoked tofu felt like I was eating a really good blt. the sandwiches are large, but they can also add kartoffels, a sidealat suppe or (which is occasionally vegan). they also have a vegan breakfast package that has discarded tofu.
The caffe itself has a very cool mood, but unfortunately there are limited vegan options as far as the food goes. it is a good place to stop for a drink! updated by the previous review on 2021-05-31 updated by the previous review on 2021-05-31
Only three vegan options in the menu, apart from the daily suppe with something happy. Eating was ok, but nothing amazing. personal was friendly and helpful
Worst coffee in the world. Looked like milky tea. Barista laughed when I complained. I've lived on the Drive in Vancouver and have been making my own espresso for 40 years. I know a thing or two about it.
Delicious Nanaimo bars and awesome coffee drinks. Got a London Fog and Chai Latte and both were delicious! Great atmosphere and a full menu with food I can’t wait to try.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free bakery options
