We chose the hali... read more We stopped in here for lunch the other day and discovered some of the best fish & chips we have ever had. You have a choice of cod or halibut. We chose the halibut and it was wonderful. Instead of tartar sauce it is quite a garlicky dip. I would have preferred tartar sauce. However the fish and the chips were both wonderful. Definitely worth a try. Coffee is excellent too!

Kim has a loyal following and the staff and the food keep us coming back. She gets her fish free each day and makes a really good batter, it is always a toss up between the fish and hamburger, which is very good as well.

It wasn't too long before breakfast came, exactly as ordered by everyone and we were really starving so everyone was pleased. One person ordered the eggs benny, and seemed to enjoy it as well.They only serve breakfast and lunch here but I would recommend it to anyone. Good food, fair prices and what more would you want?

I cannot tell you how... read more This coffee is fantastic, and I so appreciated that they deliver it periodically to the palliative care wing at Nanaimo General Hospital. I cannot tell you how much our family appreciated having a “real” cup of coffee during our family member’s stay on that unit. Thank you so very much for thinking of those families, and I hope to be in one day to enjoy a cup in person.

I initially planned to grab a quick bite at McDonald's, but the drive-thru wait was too long. Instead, we decided to give Haz Beans a try, and it did not disappoint! From now on, we will be loyal customers and can't wait to bring our friends along.
