Drip Coffee Social - Nanaimo

Was hoping to sit down and study before class and enjoy breakfast, wasn’t greeted but that’s okay, ordered my drink and before I could even glance at the food menu she had the iPad turned around without saying anything to me, I figured I’d sit down and set up my seat and then order food but when I looked around there wasn’t any seats. Half the people didn’t have food or drinks so it was disheartening. Guess that’s why she didn’t ask if I wanted anything else. My drink was extremely watered down and flavourless. Won’t be coming back, super unfriendly staff that day and unwelcoming environment. Sucks because I live so close, but I’ll go to Buzz instead.

Such a hip and trendy coffee place with rich and flavourful coffee and yummy sandwiches. Also great service. A must stop in Nanaimo!Caffe latte was yummy.Both avacado toast and grilled eggplant in ciabatta were sumptuous! All flavours and ingredients nicely fused in.Ambiance: 5/5Set right next to the beach the outdoor seating is refreshing and indoors is hip and modern!Service: 5/5very friendly and nice servers. They saw we had a baby so provided extra help.

This may have the best coffee house location in Nanaimo. Sit inside, outside, or right at the beach. Good coffee, food, staff. Jugglers are conspicuously absent from this top tier spot. I’m not fond of jugglers. The attached photo illustrates what my dog was doing while I drank coffee.

Lovely little coffee shop with delicious coffee and a great view! I usually get mine to go and walk across the street to the beach if the weather is nice, but the store is very cute and comfortable to sit in as well! Lots of great choices of food and drinks here, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The prices here are much lower than at other coffee shops! Parking can be a bit tricky, but I usually find a spot across the street at Departure Bay Beach, which offers a great view! The coffee is fantastic! Grab a table by the beach to savor a delicious pastry and your favorite drink!
