I have ordered takeout from here several times over the past few years. It's one of the best and most affordable fish and chips places in Nanaimo. The burgers are great as well. The staff is very friendly, too! View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Cod Squad Fish Chips:
The fish did not taste fresh (tasted fishy). We both returned our meals and told the owners the meals were inedible. They didn’t know how to respond, but said we should just go. We offered to pay for the soapy tasting tea and gravy, but they just told us to go. No sooner had we stepped outside when the wife came storming out and told us to pay for the tea and gravy, which is what we did. We will not be returning. View all feedback.
