Ippopotamus - Nals

It is a restaurant where you pay relatively little and therefore you can not expect high quality. The fish is abundant and almost exclusively frozen and feels, some problem in the grated shells that had not been properly treated and therefore had annoying sand to chew. Caraffed wine, served in generous quantity, turns towards dessert and therefore is not suitable for the taste of sea fish. The scrambled mussels are saved and the fried is not fat and dry. Also well the fresh sorbet served at the end of the meal. In the bathrooms there is no paper to dry your hands. Parking: Almost in front of the entrance inside, public and free.

Central location. While in the mountains of Trentino the menu is totally fish-based, which is already quite dissonant. The real weak point is the total absence of hospitality and reception of the staff: while having phoned to book a table at a precise time (with relative ok without any remonstration) we were told, once arrived on the spot, that it was very late and perhaps we could have accommodated. We were therefore allowed to take place at the table and we were looked at as a nuisance throughout the duration (short, because it was not our intention to disturb anyone) of our stay. Never again (I don't give a ball just because the mixed fried was 6).

Siamo capiti per caso ma vi garantisco che è stata veramente un'ottima cena a base di pesce,ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra,proprietario gentilissimo. Cibo buono e veramente abbondante quasi da non riuscire a mangiare solo il primo piatto di spaghetti,locale accogliente lo consiglio sicuramente ritorneremo

È già da un po di tempo che frequentiamo questo locale e ci torniamo sempre volentieri per i piatti buonissimi , gustosi e abbondanti oltre alla gentilezza e simpatia del proprietario. Consigliatissimo

Complimenti davvero, è stata una vera sorpresa. Ottimo scoglio, superlativa la frittura mista e la stessa cosa vale per il pesce grigliato. Porzioni grandi, anche troppo….. pensate che gli spaghetti sono costati solamente 15€. Complimenti ancora e a presto.
