There are only two reasons to dine at any restaurant more than once... consistently excellent service and an awesome chef. The Lodge has it figured out. Now, that being said, they really do need to do something about the decor and ambiance in that front dining room. In the meantime, sit in the lounge. It's patron-friendly. View all feedback.
What Rhea Quigley doesn't like about Arrow Lake Tavern:
Had the cheese burger with bacon and fries and we had as well a Shepards Pie. The pie was very large and reasonable tasty. The portion is very large and would satisfy the hunger of a lumber jack. The burger was not cooked to perfection...and the fries over cooked. It seems they have been in the deep fryer for a very long time. One could say the same for the bacon. Service very friendly and professional and it appears... View all feedback.
We stayed at the k2 motor lodge and went to this restaurant for a snack for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The dining atmosphere was wonderful. I love the rustic, industrial look and the different seating arrangements. Furthermore, the food was good and the waitress nice. Our breakfast the next morning was good as well; however, our waitress neglected us a bit by forgetting to bring the syrup or refilling the coffee.Otherwise I would have given it 5stars.If you are ever in Nakusp, this is really worth the try.
I've been staying at the Rotor Lodge for 5 years, and the food is definitely one of the biggest highlights. Great staff, great food, great management. Thanks guys!
Great food, great service and warm atmosphere. We weren't sure of where to go on a Sunday evening in Nakusp, then we found this tavern. It's modern, yet warm. Will visit again when I return to Nakusp, BC.
We stayed in the lodge for one night and enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the Arrow Lake Tavern. Service was average, no great shakes there. For dinner, I had the K2 Select burger, which was quite yummy. Breakfast was very good as well.
