Reviews - Java House Hurlingham
Reviews summary
Comfortable, open café ideal for quick lunches, casual meetings and early-morning stops, praised for friendly service, sturdy sandwiches (notably a bacon-forward BLT), comforting lattes and standout specialty drinks like the Dawa and peppermint mocha. Packaging and delivery are reliable, and staff often make visits feel personal. Proximity to a busy road and nearby cafés makes the space lively—great for informal gatherings but too noisy for formal events. Some guests note occasional slow order-taking and a reduction in honey portion size.

We arrived at 7 AM and were promptly served a wonderful meal. Our server, Michael Omangati, was incredibly friendly and made our experience exceptional. Thank you for giving us such a great start to our day!
Food Dawa to Go is always a delight! However, I found the small vial of honey a bit disappointing compared to the larger containers you used to offer. I hope you can reconsider this change or at least offer a larger option. The atmosphere is open and airy, and the service is friendly, but it can get quite noisy with the sounds of traffic and nearby cafes.
I had a great experience with the service, and my BLT with cheese was expertly prepared. There was no shortage of bacon, which I appreciated. The café latte was just right for the chilly weather.
I absolutely love how Java prioritizes customer satisfaction. Their packaging is fantastic! My order was delivered quickly and with great care. You definitely can't resist getting hooked on their Dawa drink; it's perfect, especially in this chilly, rainy weather. A special shoutout to the staff at their Hurligham branch!
