First of all the guy welcomed me with a smile and that’s not so usually even in other places in Nagymaros, he speaks a good English e it was a luck for me to have stepped in this place casually. The menu is all in Hungarian, anyway I saw what other people were eating, asked and received everything in few minutes. A whole fried fish with fries was only €8 and a portion of fish sticks and sweet potatoes €5. Everything was cooked at the moment and he also provided us with a bag for take away. I repeat, this lunch in front of the river will be one of my best memories

For my part, we ate a whole Hekket with potatoes for HUF 4. The woman and the child were satisfied with this. One of the positive comments is that the Hekk was baked just then, so it was super fresh. Maybe I would play a different note if he had been standing under the lamp for half an hour, but he wasn't there. He wouldn't have had a chance because there were quite a few people in line.

(Although I wouldn't have done it, because then I would have saved the price of my lunch for 3 days. I ordered a slice of horseshoe carp at the fish buffet, I didn't ask for anything extra, just bread. The buzzer signaled, I went to the counter and the server weighed the fish. In addition to the weight, the scale also displayed the price, which not only surprised me, but also the counter girl, so she put it on a second time, but the instrument was not wrong. I had to pay HUF 5,580 for the bread and a slice of carp brought out in the material price. Apart from the fact that the fish was unsalted and I was paid for the weight of the absorbed oil, it blew my mind that 3 weeks ago in a restaurant in Mohács, I didn't even pay that much for deep-fried CARP FILLET with side dish and tartar sauce. This is Hungary, grinning at each other. I love Nagymaros, but next time I will prepare my meatloaf buns the good Hungarian way, at least I won't be disappointed.
