Mulligan's Grille In Historic Cottage Row

I was a little ill sure but we decided to give it a go. They had gluten free buns and they were amazing. I was impressed with the food and service. Friendly server and worked around my allergies. We will be back the next time in the area.

We stopped in for lunch the first time, sat in side and had great experience. Great shrimp, tacos and soup. Second time was awful. waited hour and half for 2 soups. Asked twice on status. The blonde bar manager was rude, complaining about the crush orders, ticket machine etc. . the bar tender was ok, hungover but it was pretty view. 50/50.

Mulligan's is one of our favorite stops on every Obx trip. The tiki bar upstairs is always a fun and laid back spot to grab a drink, and maybe a crab pretzel or steamed snow crab. My wife's go-to drink here is the orange crush, which was super fresh and tasty. The staff here is always friendly and provides great service. There is plenty of parking in their lot...just beware that there can be a wait for a table during dinner as they tend to get very busy.

First off, I would give them 10 stars if I could! We visited 3 separate times during our 5 day stay in the area. Service was top-notch. We sat up on the rooftop bar the first (and only warm) day. My dog Teddy had the chicken and rice, and he loved every bite. The Crush drinks are on point- so so good. The best part about Mulligan's is the customer service. Shout out, especially to bartender Sarah- she is absolutely fantastic! Portions were good size, and everything tasted delicious. We will be back the next time we are in the area!

I went with a large group and we were seated right away. The place has a ton of space and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I got the mahi sandwich and it was delicious. The rest of the group got burgers which they enjoyed as well. We had a few drinks as well and they were also very good. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. It seems like their tiki bar is a good spot it was packed!
