Alpine Gate Cafe - MYRTLEFORD

Stop by Alpine Gate Cafe and try their steak sandwich. It is absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and tender steak. I highly recommend it.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I waited 15 minutes for a toastie that never arrived. When I inquired about it because I was in a hurry to catch my bus, the server said she could bring it out but it wasn't even cooked. When I asked for a refund, I was met with attitude. I definitely will not be returning.

We received a text the day before to confirm our reservation, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. We were disappointed that we were not contacted to be informed of this, especially on such a cold day when we had walked there. We had to find an alternative dining option. Very disappointed.

The food is good and it's a relaxed spot to grab a quick meal. However, the restaurant could improve on its ambiance.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were disappointed to find that it was closed for renovations. It would have been helpful if this information had been communicated to us. We were particularly let down by the open table booking system in this instance.
