The steak my... read more In our 40+ years of coming to Myrtle Beach for vacation, we have never had a dining experience as exceptional as the one we had at this restaurant. The steak my wife ordered was perfectly grilled and tender with amazing flavor, my daughters loved the paella dish, and the red snapper I ordered was the best I've ever had in terms of presentation and taste. Our server, Roxy, was delightful and provided great recommendations for our meal. She was attentive and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The manager, Cory, also stopped by to check on us after we paid our bill, which was a nice touch. This restaurant is a must-visit for both tourists and locals alike!

Appreciate that all staff wore facemasks even outside. The food was amazing! super cute starter of pimento cheese on SC-shaped board, beet salad- shrimp and grits were great. Highly recommend!

Walk in the doors and you are greeted with the aroma of their bourbon bacon appetizer. We were seated towards the back in a cozy table/booth area. Great place to people watch. Kim was our server. She is very pleasant, friendly, personable and menu knowledgeable. When she discovered my wife's shellfish allergy she immediately stopped the order and switched with no fuss. Her recommendations from cocktails, to appetizers, main course and dessert were spot on. Highly recommend Hook Barrel!
