Stopped in here after walking the Musquodoboit railway trail. They are very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had a great mocha and a hot chocolate with a couple of homemade cakes. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
A gem on the Eastern Shore this lovely bakery serves fresh baked goods. I often stop in for a date square or oat cake and a hot chocolate or tea. They offer a wide reange of fresh baked bread and many other tasty treats. A great little local spot to meet a friend for coffee or to grab a treat on the run.
While driving through Musquodoboit, about 45 km from Halifax, we stopped to see what this little bakery was selling. There was a selection of freshly baked goods on display. It all looked good to us so we purchased a number of items. We had a sample of the bread while having lunch at the little café down the street. The baker came over to greet us so we had a chance to chat. It turns out he is the owner, the baker, the repair man and the sales clerk, as he explained with a smile. He enjoys what he is doing and takes pride in turning out an excellent selection of baked goods. If you are planning to walk the trails or the beach this might be a great place to pick up a snack. Or if you want he has a couple of tables there so you can enjoy your snack in the bakery.Worth the time and experience to visit this little bakery.
The best spot ever for fresh bread and bakery product. The newly baked bread will have you mouth craving it as you walk in,also great fair trade coffee. This is not a large space nor will you get a full meal but as a bakery and coffee shop it's top notch. Only 1/2 hour from the city on highway7.
