We had dinner including two entrees and two sides. One bottle of wine and 2-3 beers. Our bill was well in excess of $300 not including tip. The serve great food and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable but the prices are insane. Charging over 3X the regular price for a bottle of wine is ridiculous. Be prepared to pay through the nose. View all feedback.
What Πάτροκλος Ξανθόπουλος doesn't like about Teca:
After dining at the Cottages restaurant at the Marriott Resort, we decided to try Teca, an Italian. We ordered charcuterie as an appetizer. It was average. Just Salami, some prosciutto and cubes of cheese. We ordered two servings for 5 people. Just an average quality charcuterie. My lobster Ravioli had no lobster meat inside the Ravioli. However there were 4 pieces of lobster meat on the plate. The sauce was heavy, t... View all feedback.
We returned to this restaurant after a couple of years. Food quality has severely declined. Service by waiter was not handled with any proper serving manners. Ordered the Prosciutto Insalata describe as Whipped Goats Cheese, Coated Pine Nut Truffles, Fresh Figs, Amaretto Reduction, Arugula, Dark...Balsamic. I received a dinner size plate covered with dry arugula drizzled with light coloured balsamic, small hard balls of goats cheese with a few very small speckles of prosciutto. The plate contained no slices of Prosciutto when it was listed as the prominent ingredient. Caesar salad was underwhelming. Caprese salad special that evening was a stack of fresh tomatoes sprinkled at the top with a very small amount of Pecora cheese and a few half olives for really? Our entrees were lobster ravioli with grilled lobster tail (no lobster tail just a couple of chucks of lobster in centre of ravioli), veal parmigiana special which was bland and eggplant parmesan which was okay. Server handed plates to each of us and expected us to hand plates to him when we were finished. No ground pepper or fresh grated cheese offered after plates were received. Bill with tip came to for three people hard to believe we spend per person for lousy food and service. We always tip even for lousy service as we are sensitive to servers trying to make a living.
Very good pleasant service. Choices were good. Portions are huge. Loved the appetizer bread that came. Very willing to make some alterations to the food choices to accommodate tastes restrictions.
We had high expectations for this experience given its location and reputation. Sadly, our expectations were not met. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, my son the Lamb Ragu and my wife the Lobster ravioli. Only the Lobster dish was passable for a fine dining...experience. The spaghetti was little more than a Home Ec effort with too much sauce and adequately cooked pasta. Drink orders were not taken prior to the meal and the service felt rushed. Our meals took more than mins to arrive even though the restaurant was less than half full. Not a great end to the weekend meal-wise...
Great food, excellent service. Good selection of wines. Recommend zucchini risotto, lamb ragout, or spaghetti with meatballs.
Food was terrible! What they call “pizza” is more like a flat bread that was really bad!!! My lobster ravioli was out of a bag in the freezer for sure. Waiter had a face shield instead of a mask and it was dirty! Ordered bottle...of wine that was a The one we received was a I do not recommend anyone going to Teca. The other restaurant “ chophouse” was just a bit better! For a hotel of this Caliber the food was a disgrace.
