Situated on Govindappa Naicken Street, near flower bazaar, the oldest sweet shop in Chennai, I am visiting this shop from the 1970’s, my childhood days. Rasamalai, Basundhi, Samosa and Lassi these four items are a must try here and I can challenge, this taste cannot be matched with any sweet shop in Chennai. View all feedback.
This place always remains the starting point of our sowcarpet food journey. We don't know whether it's luck or fate we always go there only on Saturdays.Gheer SagarThis one is Saturday special in Agarwal. It had the right amount of sweetness which would make you to have more than one bowl. Each balls were perfectly juicy and soaked well in the gheer. My favourite one from Agarwal.Rs. 75/
This place is my favorite for yummy samosas and the best rasagullas in chennai. Handsdown no other sweet shop can beat them on this. Ambience wise it is pretty old, so do not expect much. Good for a takeaway.
Kaju Katli Sweets were extremely fantastic....but it's damn expensive when compared to other popular brands.
