This could easil... read more 17th St Murphysboro Illinois is the place for BBQ. Awesome service, fast, friendly, happy to serve. The bbq nachos were loaded with everything. This could easily be a meal in itself for three or four people. We got some turkey, chicken, and pork. All had good flavor without adding anything. The 17th Street spice on the table was an added bonus. It goes with everything. Sauces all had good flavor and enhanced the taste.

Step two, take a bite with red sauce. Spiced with just amount of heat. Step three (and this is the best part! sprinkle the ?Magic Dust? on top of the sauce?WOW! Super complex explosion of flavor. Hopefully this review doesn?t set your expectations too high but I thoroughly enjoyed this! I hope you have the same experience I did.

The food is always hot and ready unless it's Mother's day weekend but that's to be expected. 90% of the time they get your order correct in the bag which isn't bad odds. The pork BBQ is delicious and all sides are rather large in serving and made well. We will remain 17th Street customers for the foreseeable future.

The pimento cheese was unappetizing and negatively affected the burger I ordered. The highlight of the meal was definitely the fried pickles; they were lightly battered and paired well with the delicious ranch dressing. While the ribs had great flavor, the baked beans tasted like they were straight from a can. The service was good, but it felt like a long wait for food that was only average.
