Description
Hovey Winery, located on Main Street in downtown MURPHYS, offers a selection of premium red and white wines produced in Calaveras County. Guests can enjoy tasting flights or wines by the glass or bottle on our beautiful lawn, which provides plenty of shade and space for seating. Reservations are required and last approximately sixty minutes, with a maximum group size of four people. Face coverings and social distancing measures are mandatory, and children must be seated with an adult. Unfortunately, guests are not permitted inside the Tasting Room, and public restrooms are unavailable. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I absolutely loved the wine tasting experience at this restaurant! They offer a fantastic selection of white, rose, and red wines. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. I highly recommend trying it out!

Once again, we had an amazing experience at Hovey! Natasha provided excellent service and accommodated our group with a cozy camping-style seating area for our wine tasting. The quality of their wines was exceptional!
Such great wine, knowledgeable staff that are fun and friendly.
It was nice to be able to schedule wine tasting outside during Covid but the experience was not the same. The grounds were very nice to sit in on a beautiful day. There was not much dialogue with the staff about the wines and they took a long time to come back for pours. The wine was ok but the wine tasting fee of $15 is high and not worth it for their wines.
