When we where leaving I asked the young ladies at the hostess stand who was the woman there before them? They thought juliann she would not have acknowledged us standing there until we had to get right at the hostess stand so another customer could get by.She has been there on Sunday's before. It was about 3:15 though the parking lot was barely full may a 1/4 when we got her attention she is more worried about looking at her paper I am sure what tables open and what server. She didn't hesitate to tell us 25 to 30 minutes,unless you want to sit at high tops. So we picked the high tops. We were not the only ones she turned away with the long wait time, we stayed the others left. I am sure rush time was over and servers were on break. I would think when you give that time you do not want them to wait. Maybe try 10 to 15 then when that time is up another 10 minutes people will wait because they already are invested. Everytime we have been there on Sundays you have to approach the hostess. Listen I understand everyone is still short handed, but acting like the customer is a bother is not helping anyone. My husband and I understand that is why we try to tip well, even if the service is not that great, but this was not the case today. He said he went in checked on our food because it had taken some time. He came back and told us that they had run low on chicken and was preparing more, so our food would be our shortly. We order the chicken fajita for two. The chicken was not warm, must have gotten out of freezer and defrosted in hot water. The shells were so dry and hard we only ate one a piece, and ate just plain with the vegetables. We did not say anything, because when you complain about the food the server take that burden, and we think to much for the servers to make that complaint. I do want to mention the people started coming in from the Titans game and the two young ladies at the hostess desk was taking care of them great. They even displayed personality. The hostess waited on us hope she is not the manager.Parking: Plenty of it good area of parking

They were... read more We have been to Chuy's many times but not in quite a while. It's just as good as I remember! They have updated the menu and the charro beans are gone? They were so good! But everything else was so tasty. Our server seemed to be short-handed and the kitchen was backed up. We had an appetizer and lots of chips/dip/salsa and the meals were taking a really long time so we ended up taking it to go. Overall it was a good experience and we left with full tummies?
