I was excited after looking at the menu but the food didn’t deliver at all. Good service but very average food. Dal makhani very runny. The potato skins were not crispy at all and only three small half potatoes for £10. Much better options in Southall. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Jeera Chicken! For vegetarians, the menu offers an impressive selection, making it a great choice as well.
Having grown up in Southall, I chose this restaurant for my dad's milestone birthday, thinking it would be a wonderful place to revisit after a long time. I had high expectations since many people have praised it. However, to be honest, the food was just average. The highly recommended butter chicken was nothing special and lacked flavor. We ordered a variety of meat main dishes, and once again, they were just average; they seemed rushed and only had okay flavor. The meat itself didn’t seem very fresh. The lamb chops were a positive highlight, though. Overall, I wasn't very impressed. While the service was good, the atmosphere was also just average. What was once brilliant has lost its shine.
The food was absolutely delicious, but the seating arrangements were a bit absurd, especially considering we were the only group there. We found out that the chef is comparable to those at high-end SOHO restaurants, but the prices are only a fraction of what you'd pay there. For the service: we dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £20–30.
