We knew the food was qualit... read more We have dined here a few times prior to this visit thus the reason for our return. In fact I have a menu from when you first opened. We knew the food was quality. The best you pretty much can get in this part of the UP. However the service was marginal and disappointing. When you are paying for a dinner out you’d expect a little more attention and why ask if celebrating a special occasion. There was no recognition of it, say a complimentary cocktail or dessert. It was our anniversary We had the surf and turf and was excellent although a bit pricey for the amount you get. Our waitress handed us the check without asking if there is anything else she could get for us or if interested in dessert. I appreciated the chef coming out and asking us how dinner was. She definitely has the culinary touch. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself here.
