Good food, good service. They also have a lunch menu (curry+rice+soup/salad) at slightly lower prices than normal which comes in handy if you work close by.
My friend asked for a glass of tap water after she had finished her drink. The waiter stated that the water is not good. Everyone knows that water in Munich is excellent. Then he continued to bring a bottle of water, 0.2ml for which we had to pay 3.30 euros. No wonder the tap water is not good at this restaurant. Such a rip off! Maybe I should ask for a city inspector to go and check the water at this restaurant. Such a shame!
Food is so authentic and delicious here. We loved it. We ordered vegetable Thali, they gave us proper meal more than sufficient for a person. It was soul satisfying experience. In vegetable Thali they first give you soup then Thali with proper quantity of 3 delicious curries, salad, raita and rice. I would recommend to try their thali if you are missing Indian food.

The food is really outstanding. Every dish we tried was brusting with flavour and cooked too perfection . They use fresh ingredients and make sure each dish is done in the right way. The service was fantastic . And the presentation was mind blowing . Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Naan, Samosa, Mix Grill, Paneer Butter

Solid 4* place for lunch (haven't been for dinner) Food came out quick for a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their dishes. What did surprise me was there...
I went here for dinner last night with some people that invited me to join them. This is their regular haunt and I thought I was in for a treat....

Together with my colleagues, I was in Sarovah for some lunch. It was always quite crowded, so it sometimes takes time to order food and drinks. The menu is also quite extensive at lunch, so everyone should find something that tastes it. Vegetarians are not too short. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed by the foods. The diarrhea of Indian cuisine and its spices do not come true; Mostly the food tasted hot water. Maybe that's a limit that only applies to the lunch table. It was always nice to see and was appealing and served.
The Indian restaurant near the university is very welcoming with its pleasant ambience, also the lunch card offers a wide selection of dishes. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not convince me, despite colourful spices, the food remains faded, the chicken I had tasted last but was neither salted nor flavored in any other way, and that where the Indian spice palette would now really offer enough. The service is quite slow, and with a bigger society it has happened that half is already finished with food before the other half has even begun. The kindness of the service sometimes leaves something to be desired. I can't recommend the Indian.

If you're Indian and desperate for food from your native land (someone in my group) or know nothing about Indian food and want an easy but inauthentic (to mediocre) introduction to the cuisine, then this is your place. Four of the six vegetables in the...More
I was on a holiday with my cousin. The experience was very bad in terms of food quality and service. Will def. not recommend this place to anyone.
Food is okay (except disgusting vegetable soup) , but service is the worst ever experienced in a restaurant. Waiter rude and enjoys it: bill without asking, rushing us to eat faster, and worse.
Had the Bhuna Lamb with rice and raita. Have to admit rice was authentic Basmati and Raita was well flavoured as well . The Bhuna Lamb ahd a nice thick curry , a bit salty but overall can't complain . Seems authentic Indian taste
