Steinpilze und Pfifferlinge auf Kart... read more Wer glaubt italienische Küche kann nicht mehr überraschen der kennt das Rossini nicht!Mittlerweile mein Lieblingsitaliener. Steinpilze und Pfifferlinge auf Kartoffelcarpaccio, oder Spaghetti mit Bottarga von der Meeräsche, oder venezianische Kalbsleber...das nur einiges was ich bis gestern noch nie probiert hatte...ich finde immer wieder etwas neues, das meine Liebe zur italienischen Küche befeuert...Und dann zu allem immer die richtige Wein Empfehlung. Wein kann man übrigens zu ganz normalen Ladenpreisen auch einkaufen und mitnehmen. Ihr Angebot haben sie in einem kleinem Büchlein liebevoll zusammengefaßt.Danke Sabine und Fabrizio!

On arrival he took my coat and umbrella with an aristocratic demeanor, and made an unpleasant joke. But luckily I was warned, and rested... ...and the food is extraordinary. And...the waitress extremely discrete, polite and friendly. And the owner disappeared in the back. Strongly recommend. But be warned... ;

Delicious vitello tonnato, various fresh fish dishes. A pleasing selection of good open wines (including German Pinot Grigio).

The tables are classically set with white tablecloths, the ambiance and clientele are rat... read more Rossini is a small but elegant restaurant in the Maxvorstadt district. The tables are classically set with white tablecloths, the ambiance and clientele are rather sophisticated, and the preparation and quality of the food are very good. There's virtually no noise, the menu is small (which I personally always find very appealing), and there's a decent wine selection. The service was good, even if somewhat reserved, or rather neutral, but I prefer that to being too pushy. The only criticism: the very bright lighting, which didn't become any more inviting later in the evening. In conclusion: A highly recommended restaurant in the upscale price range with good, traditional Italian cuisine!
