Café Diba is my second living room, and hands down my current number one happy place. The owner, Reza, is one of the most warm hearted and open minded people I know. Beautiful (usually) Jazz music is playing throughout the day. On many, but not all Wednesdays, half a dozen or so musicians meet at this place for the regular Gipsy Jazz Jam Session. Come on in and listen (free), bring your instrument and join in if you like! Café Diba offers a staple of newspapers, including the local standards Süddeutsche, AZ and TZ, but also to my delight the left leaning political taz and Junge Welt. Free unlimited WiFi provided by Freifunk München (ffmuc) helps me get some work done should I have to.

Great food and drinks and the owner is super nice. They have live music in the evenings.

I actually feel the most important part of the visit is a very friendly owner! I read reviews and I went in and I was surprised to find myself first in a small conversation with him and then be served over coffee etc. he makes his coffee with love! thanks for the experience.

Easy to miss. Great place. Now a regular espresso fix for me on my way to work. Superb daily lunch for very little money.
