Description

Nestled in the vibrant village near Ball State, Yats offers a unique Cajun dining experience that combines friendly service with a relaxed atmosphere. Guests are treated to samples of flavorful dishes, though opinions on the authenticity of the food vary. While the gumbo and jambalaya are hits with some diners, others find them lacking in spice. Overall, the hearty meals, including impressive cookies and Cajun bread, draw in a loyal crowd despite minor drawbacks like limited parking and occasional inventory shortages. For those craving a touch of Cajun flair, Yats remains a delightful choice worth exploring.

They only have one vegan (and two vegetarian) dishes, but the option they do have is excellent. Great place!

One of my favorite quilty pleasures for lunch. Parking is a pain in the courtesy of Muncie. That aside, service is good and engaging at lunch with plenty of friendly banter. Food is always good, though they do run out of things. Patio is great during warmer months.

When you first enter you are greeted with joy. Then you are offered samples! Who does this anymore? Yatz does! The food was so delicious and the bread? Well it's just next level!

Signage at location says closes at 7pm, so I wasted a trip.

I don't get this place. They charge a ton of money for a single scoop of gumbo. You leave feeling cheated. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
