The ambiance and food at The Good Wife were lovely. But the service left a lot to be desired. The servers were more interested in watching the IPL which was being screened there. I was there to celebrate my friend's birthday. I made sure to request one of the servers and chef to write Happy Birthday on the dessert that we order. Yes. I visited this place, very popular in mumbai for the last years. I found a little stuffed for a Sunday brunch. eating is good to see, looks colorful. especially the displayed brote, veg not veg salat desserts. personal shortage is a big problem, I think, for every job we have to wait half an hour. mr. goutam, the restaurant manager, as I observed him, especially in a corner standing where some family celebration / celebration continues. Maybe it's part of his duty. Live music was a bit loud for a small room, hardly we could call someone to place a order, most of the time, we need to look for someone for placing order or cleaning the table. salat brot cheese plates were good. exotic fruits were in the dessert area. eating tastes good presented. beautiful dishes are in the menu. loved the thin crushed veg not veg pizzas. met chef deepak, he makes a good job for the last 5 years. parking service is available. Rs.2700 per person Sunday brunch with drinks. my only one please to the administration to serve food little faster, do not go between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in a hurry.
Located in Capital building, The Good Wife is a nicely designed gastro pub. The tables are well laid out and service is attentive. The decor is modern with a huge bar. The menu is designed magazine style and is huge with good balance between vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Happy hours are from 5 till 8 pm daily.

I don't want to pay this price for a meal while children cry around me. Food wise it was a good meal. Portions are big enough for two to share. We got the truffle fries which came with dips, jalapeno corn sliders and mac and cheese. Their signature Good Wife cocktail was delicious too.
A much awaited visit finally came through on friendship day. This place was pretty empty given that it was a Sunday when other restaurants at BKC run on waiting. To begin, really well trained staff. Each one of them was extremely courteous, seeking your feedback on the comfort of seating, each dish u order and your experience. Location : 8/10 Ambience : 9/10 Service : 10/10 appetizers : 9/10 main course : 8/10 Desserts : 10/10 As for food, we ordered paneer fuschia, which is basically a pink sauce pasta. But the flavour of pine nuts and olives was amazing. Also ordered the herb cottage cheese steak which included sauted vegetables in a sweet tangy red sauce, rice base and two steaks of paneer. Overall it is an expensive place but looking at the prices I felt ambiance and food are not up to the mark. But their service is good and staff is courteous.
The first time I went, the food was excellent, bursting with flavour. Not so much the next time around. The drinks were good too, but overpriced. The mural on the back wall is quite riveting. The lighting is a tad dim purposely so, but I personally prefer a brighter atmosphere.
