Contribute FeedbackIt is my go to place for a midnight meal in Bombay! There is a perception that Taj would be way too expensive but it’s actually not. While it is not as cheap as street food I feel the prices are at par with any other A lister gourmet restaurant in the city. Since am an eggetarian, Mac n Cheese, chole, pancakes are some of my favourite dishes there!
I visited Shamiana in the evening today with family to celebrate my wife's birthday. We started with Tomato Soup which was super. Thereafter, we had thin crush veg pizza which was also awesome. Thereafter, we had Paneer Makhani with one portion of Rotis, Tawa Pulav and Pav Bhaji. All these were marvelous. At the end, we were full but the waiter insisted us to have Parsi Kulfi and Chocolate Brownie and we had and these two were also out of the world. In summary we had a fantastic and memorable birthday celebration experience. We were really happy with the service of waiter Adil. We also met the chef in charge of veg indian preparation to thank him for the nice food. We also provided the good feedback to the restaurant managers.
Lets keep this short and sweet... Ambiance, Food, People 10/10. Make sure you book a reservation before going.
The ambiente, eat and the hospitality best. vegetarians have good food. we had disc butter masala, pulav and rugged apple Vanila ice. everything was great
This place does not have to do too much for popularity that it is located within the tad! overall a really nice experience that was eating great and tasted like homemade food (no hotel made masala etc) ; ambiente was great, but they can make it a lil more premium that I am sure souk and wasabi, but the service was a great as expected. we were there for our jubilee dinner and it really lived up to expectation.
