Saffron has a wonderful Indian spread on offer located in the lower lobby of the plush JW Marriott Hotel.<br/ <br/ Taste: 4.0/5.0<br/ <br/ We had ordered<br/ <br/ Drinks (Mocktail)<br/ <br/ Carribean Delight<br/ A blend of pineapple, cranberry, mango juice topped with coconut cream. Tasted more like mango juice.<br/ <br/ Starters<br/ <br/ Saunfiyani Bharwan Paneer<br/ Huge chunk of Paneer filled with melting curd; tasted mild delicious.<br/ <br/ Palak Moong Anjeera Kebab<br/ It's a dark green kebab, full of mashed palak topped with crisp moong dal. I didn't quite the texture taste that much.<br/ <br/ Dahi Akhrot ke Kebab<br/ If you love hung curd paneer this is for you. Melt in the mouth kebabs with lovely balance of flavour.<br/ <br/ Main Course<br/ <br/ Bhuna Lahsuni Palak<br/ Palak based gravy, spiced topped with fried garlic. Usually I don't prefer green gravies but this was awesome.<br/ <br/ Zaituni Kofta Anari<br/ Olive koftas tossed in sour tomato gravy. The gravy was too sour for my liking.<br/ <br/ Dal Tadka<br/ Dal was simple wholesome.<br/ <br/ Safed Chawal<br/ Simple steam rice.<br/ <br/ Naan E Zaatar <br/ I love Zataar Spice so ordered a Naan. It was nice crisp.<br/ <br/ Ulte Tawe ka Paratha<br/ Huge Paratha probably had kneaded with kesar milk. Slightly sweet but super soft in texture.<br/ <br/ Desserts<br/ <br/ Paan Icecream<br/ Refreshing flavour of paan.<br/ <br/ Rasmalai<br/ Very subtle flavour soft chenna good portion size.<br/ <br/ Service: 4.0 /5.0<br/ Staff is helpful but can definitely improve the speed.<br/ <br/ Ambience: 4.0/5.0<br/ The place has simplistic decor. The lighting is dim pleasant. Has seating for huge groups as well as couples. Lovely open kitchen where you can see them making Rotis.<br/ <br/ Value for money: 4.0/5.0<br/ Definitely expensive but what else will you expect at a 5 star hotel.<br/ <br/

Love this place. Enjoyed dinner here. Good food, Good quality, Good service that is all you want. Satisfied with the experience. Food is quite delicious and ambience. I ordered some paneer starter and kebabs and Biryani. My favourite dish is biryani. Must try simply awesome

Walked in here with a purpose. Was expecting authentice tasty Indian food. Was not disappointed.<br/ <br/ Ordered the Ghosht biryani, Handi Rogani Murgh with Lachha paratha, Rumali Roti and Kulcha.<br/ <br/ The meat was succulent and well cooked. The flavours were subtle yet impactful. In all, a very good experience. Good service too.<br/ <br/ Must visit for an authentic Indian experience.<br/ <br/ The price was well worth it and upto the standard you'd expect the fact that it is housed in India's oldest Marriott hotel.
