We tried a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious: - Chole Bhature: Huge, soft bhature with mild spicy chole and tasty pickles. - Paneer Paratha: Paneer-filled and satisfying. - Cheese Aaloo Paratha: Fluffy and loaded with cheese. - Chana Soup: A must-try, healthy with a good aftertaste. Our bill for all these dishes was only INR 310. The only downside is the lack of separate parking, but you can park on the road. The dhaba only has 5 tables, mostly occupied on Sundays. You may have to share a table with a stranger. Overall, Manjeet's is not the place for those who are overly concerned about hygiene, but if you're looking for authentic Punjabi cuisine, it's definitely worth a visit.
The food still attracts a crowd, especially on Sundays when locals gather for their weekly fix of Puris with Chhole, Kulchas, and Parathas. It reminds me of the delicious meals I enjoyed in Amritsar. Note: this restaurant is only recommended for those who appreciate hearty, authentic Punjabi cuisine. Others may want to pass on this experience.
