This restaurant is a fantastic choice for seafood lovers. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and tried the tandoori Surmai, king prawns tawa fry, and rawas salt pepper, all of which were delicious and fresh. The beer was perfectly chilled and the desserts, including furniture, kesar kulfi, and matka phirni, were a delightful end to the meal. The staff was friendly and had a great sense of humor, even when we were joking with them. The manager was also very welcoming. I would definitely prefer this restaurant over any other touristy seafood spot in Fort. The ambiance has a true Bombay-Mumbai vibe, with classic wooden furniture and a clean, pleasant atmosphere.
Dakshin Bar and Kitchen is a fantastic spot for those looking for authentic Manglorean cuisine. The restaurant features projectors and TV screens throughout, creating a lively atmosphere. The service and ambiance are both decent, making it a great value for money option. Be sure to try their Chicken Ghee Roast and Neer Dosa, both highly recommended. I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars rating.
