Lotus - Mukilteo

I have often noticed this restaurant, Lotus, whenever I visit Henry's Donuts since they are right next to each other, and I frequently go to Henry's.

I've been dining at this restaurant for years because it has always been the best. Tonight, I'm going to place my final order. "Goodbye" doesn't quite capture my feelings.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Mukilteo. It's a fantastic and convenient place to enjoy Chinese cuisine without having to drive all the way to Bellevue. The chef and the owner truly bring authenticity to the experience.

I am not sure why the ratings are so low! Our family has been coming here for years!! Like 1 or 2 times a week at least. This place has had a few different owners and they all have been great! Prices and lunch menu are a steal Food is delicious Staff is friendly Overall this place is in my top favs for Chinese food!

There is something new cooking Mukilteo! Judging from the sign hanging it out front it looks there is a new owner. Apparently the new management can really cook, because my food was amazing! I went here once two years ago, but I didn't like my food so I had kinda written Lotus off. However, today my kids and I decided to give Lotus a second try. I am so glad we did! We ordered pot stickers, house chow mein, and almond fried chicken. All I can say is WOW. I particularly enjoyed the dipping sauce for the pot stickers. What a perfect blend of flavors! I also enjoyed that everything we ordered was an original take on classic American style Chinese. I was pleasantly surprised both by the presentation of the food as well as the taste. The portion size was perfect as well. We will definitely be visiting Lotus again.
