very friendly and attentive service, nice facility, but unpleasant atmosphere, as hardly other guests and extreme quiet. the carving was not satisfactory. drinks heavily overpriced (more expensive than tourist hotspots in the city). no recommendation, because bad price/performance ratio. Were already 2 times here for dinner.A little older, menu good-bourgeoisy.Essen tastes good, portion ok, but inexpensive to my opinion a little too high.
I don't mean buffet only as if it were the only option, just that I ate there one dinner and would never do that again. The buffet offers basic breads, yogurt, fruit, eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee, etc and it's all fine - enough to start you on your day. Other menu items are enough to keep you in your hotel room unwilling to leave from the digestive upset and bland at best experience. Eat the breakfast, go elsewhere for other meals. Does have a bar though and the alcohol and service were fine.
The facility is a little bit in the years, may be that the current pächter family only has a contract until autumn 2017. the food has tasted very well, in person we only felt the prices, especially for drinks, as a bit overcrowded - pasing is actually not the Munich marienplatz...
If you are in Germany, you can expect good German food (why eat something else) and German food was served here, both were good, nice staff and cozy local.
