When I stay at the Sheraton It is great not to need to get in a taxi to go have dinner especially after a long flight from the US. Great service at the bar. Nice local clientele. Good wine selection, generous pours, great Goulash Soup and all at a reasonable price. Very good casual answer to "what's for dinner" then walk back to the hotel and get a great night's sleep. Note about the Sheraton. The heating and air conditioning in the rooms is so much better than the Westin across the street. I stay at the Sheraton if I do not need to be at the Westin.

The tables were not cleaned, the waitress did not come for a long time and after taking the reservation, she still did not clean up the table or take the old dishes away.... And than we had to wait again very long to get the bill. We watched other guests taking away the dishes....

We visited three nights in a row and then again 10 days later when we returned to Munich. The friendly staff went out of their way to make us...welcome despite the language barrier. The cafe is obviously very popular with the locals and the staff seemed to know them all! My wife recommends their Flying Kangaroo cocktail which we had to try as Aussie visitors to beautiful Munich! The beer was great too!!!!!!
