Contribute FeedbackI sang solo here and it was a great experience. the restaurant has a typical German tariff on its menu and the food I ordered was delicious and generous in terms of the portions. the sprinkler was tender and perfectly cooked and the homemade sprout cake was ashamed and even the small part was too much for me. the service was friendly and attentive.
Best restaurant near Munchen Hbf. Just opposite the station in Eden Hotel with classy setting and good food! Recommended.
Food was quite good; however the service is incredibly slow. They either need more staff or waiters to be more attentive.
Went here as it was close to our hotel, it's actually the restaurant of another hotel. There is an Alpine/Bavarian feel about the place and in that respect the theming is good, sadly as we were the only customers the place didn't come to life....The food was adequate, not exceptional as was the service. There is nothing bad here but neither did our experience commend the place for others.
We visited this restaurant because we read positive reviews and it was near the Munich Central Station We arrived just before 7 pm, and were quickly led to our table. After ordering our food was where everything went downhill. It look a long time before...our food was served. And we looked around, this was the case with many other tables near us. Eventually our food was served. Our teenage son ordered the beef consommé with semolina dumpling, and thought that the dumpling tasted odd. About 2 minutes later, our server came back and told us she served the wrong soup and it was liver ball! Our son spirited out whatever liver that was in his mouth. I don’t blame him as which teen would willingly eat liver? Anyway as he drank quite a bit of the soup already, we declined the offer to have it changed thinking that we could eat the liver. But it was even too strong for us. The adults ordered Pork Fillet and Veal Ball. The meat was ok but the sauce was a tad too salty for us. When we finished our mains, we had to wait 35 minutes for our dessert. After about 30 min, I approached our server to cancel the order a simple meal had taken us more than 90 minutes, most of the time just spent waiting. She said that our dessert was almost ready and we decided to wait. When we asked for our bill, the process took almost 30 minutes! Our server eventually sorted it out and apologised mentioning that 2 staff had called in sick that day. I do need to commend our server for smiling throughout and keeps her cool. The situation is not her fault and she was trying her best. I would recommend the restaurant for the nice atmosphere, but the day we visited was just absolutely the wrong day for the restaurant
