Took coffee, cake and eggs for takeaway. They stopped us from entering the cafe first because they assumed we were going to sit. Then for eggs we asked for boiled eggs, they said they cant peel and give because they have too many customers. Then turns out the eggs were semi-boiled. So we couldn’t have it on the go. Not a good experience to overall.
The place is very cozy. When I was there, it was busy inside, and it took about 20 minutes for them to take our order. The food took another 20 minutes to arrive, but the French toast I ordered was absolutely delicious! I would love to come back and try other things. 18.04.2026
Nice and cozy cafe, great for quick coffee or breakfast in a relaxed and quiet place
Boyfriend and I went here for a late lunch on a Saturday because we just stumbled upon it. It’s a small, crowded space but we didn’t have to wait to sit and it wasn’t uncomfortably close. The staff speaks English which was helpful given our toddler level German, and there’s a cute black and white wire haired dog who wanders around very cute and friendly. The cappuccino and chai latte we got were flavorful and delicious. They make their chai blend in house and my boyfriend liked it so much he almost ordered a second one. I ordered The Ruth (think petite breakfast charcuterie) and boyfriend had scrambled eggs with bacon, bread bowl to share. We had a leisurely lunch, ate everything…and felt overfull. We would definitely go here again!
