I visited this place as he looked charming and very close to my hotel. the personal was nice, the place was not full, but enough filled for a allinesser so I could look around to spend the time dishes (tapas) very, very delicious. I met with great friends here. my first impression was that this place is pretty cool - somehow he has a student ambiente. actually the place was cool and the staff was very friendly. they offer a wide selection of local beers but also wine and drinks. eating is clearly Portuguese and simply great. I took the garnel in garlic oil and as a main course the meat spits. all very delicious and of good quality at an absolutely good price.
A bit of lisbon in Germany, we were very welcome and have eaten very well, divine shrimps and a well roasted chorizo, good drinks and a very good environment, I come back and can only recommend it.
Eating was not bad. I just made a very bad experience with the waiter. at the moment we went, no one greeted us. we were 4 people and joined the table with our friends with 5. we stood there about 5 minutes and no one offered us more chairs. Finally we had a table for 9 people. we had to wait 10 minutes until we got the menu and our waiter had a problem with the understanding of our order. When I ordered, I showed what I wanted on the maneuver, he asked me a question and I understood he repeated my order. the portion came with 5 garnels with a simple basket with baguettes. I thought it was right, it seems little for 9.50. at the end he calculated me for another order 13,50! and accused us not to have read the menu correctly and used the set "if you can't read the menu, I can't do anything" and "I think we speak another language" when we tried to explain the situation. that is unacceptable. I understand that misunderstandings have to be made during the ordering, but the creation of this waiter was simply not right, they cannot talk to their customers like that. he could have been nice and polite and apologize. that would be in order, I didn't want the money back, I just wanted to make my point. seems like this place would have to be tried, how to deal with customers when they want them back. I mean, we were a big table and wanted to spend money to have a nice evening. I can't. they need to know that customers are important and should be treated fairly! if they want to drink drinks and eat there with incompetent service, this is the right place.
Try the chourico assado na canoa, a Portuguese garlic sausage, which is grilled on her table. we had a choice of different Portuguese, which made the evening very brave.
