I like the location. I like the dark interior and the quirky decorations. I love the cocktails. I like many of the staff. So why is my review marking it average? Because the owner is a pretentious hipster prat, that’s why. If he was a quarter as cool as he thinks he is, he’d make Steve McQueen look like an IT spod. Here’s some advice for you, tiger. Being grumpy and pretending to be unapproachable doesn’t make you “cool”, it makes you grumpy and unapproachable. If it’s NOT an act (and I’m almost 100% convinced it is) then why the blinking flip do you work in a bar? Let other people do it: your other staff are better than you anyway. “Oh my god I’m like such a tortured artist look at my hair and my beard don’t dare ask me about like cocktails and stuff I’m the owner don’t you know”. Drop it, it’s tiresome. Grow up. Good service and connecting with your customers: now THAT is cool.
