When I called to confirm, I was told the reservation was invalid and they couldn't give me an available time slot. Instead, I was told to call again shortly before my planned visit and hope for the best. I understand that things can be difficult to plan at a cocktail bar on a Saturday night – but then they shouldn't offer a reservation system. Without my call, we probably would have come for nothing.
