the restaurant was half empty on a Friday night, so quite quiet and good to talk, but you also felt something lost. the food was well to very good, especially the fish and the jakobsmuschels enthusiastic. the chocolate dessert was unfortunately rather moderate. interesting was that on each dish was some yellowish foam sauce. (appetizer, fish and dessert.) service friendly and pleasant. all in all a round evening with... View all feedback.
What Marcel Arndt doesn't like about Cocoon:
who has three hours of time, for him it is the highest! After several try are also the nice explanations why you were ignored for hours by the service staff, more than superfluous! View all feedback.
A friend of ours was visiting from overseas and wanted to try a restaurant none of us have been to, in Munich. After looking through some places we settled on this one. I made a booking expecting this place might be busy but, ended up being the only ones here tonight. It's a small restaurant with seating for about 20-30 people and looks classy. White table cloths with minimalist furniture and a simple but classy bar. Our waiter was a nice enough guy and pleasant however, a bit slow. This place has a 3,4 or 5 course menu and an a la carte menu. They also have a vegetarian menu prepared on the day for one of the people in our group of 3. Food here is good with nice flavours. We chose a 3 course menu. My tuna sashimi was very nice and had a nice mild flavor. The fish was super fresh and tender. My main of veal èntrecôte was very good and cooked well. It certainly wasn't wow flavours but, very good food. The Italian wine we had was also very good. The sorbets here are fabulous and very tasty. You could taste the fruit or herb distinctly in the sorbet. All in all a pleasant experience but not a memorable one. Prices are ok and the service a bit slow. I would come back here again on a busy night and see how it is.
Food was fantastic, especially potato bread!!

I didn't like the food normal taste, nothing special, but extremely expensive. The restaurant is small and nice inside.
Despite the location near the Munich city (and thus at a crowded tourist destination) it offers delicious quality food to quite reasonable trips, fast, friendly service, cozy atmosphere.
