Bergwolf - München

We had to try currywurst while in Germany and Bergwolf came up as a top spot to try it as well as being a cheap eat option while in Munich. We came on a Monday evening around 7 PM and all the tables were full in this dimely lit place. You have options to sit at a table or order take away by the front door. Everything is in German, including the menu so as tourists from the states only knowing English, a friendly diner that we shared a table with as well as our server helped us out. I ordered one of their currywursts with fries which was pretty basic for around 5 euros. It definitely was like eating a hot dog but the sauce was what made it tasty. I can see why Bergwolf is an excellent option for a late night munchie option and would recommend it if you wanted a quick snack. However, I am sure that if you want a tasty and hearty meal, I would recommend finding another place closer to Marienplatz for some classic brautwurst or something.

Great late night place to drop by after clubbing or drinks, expect long lines though. Convenient U access right at the door!

I go there every time I come to Munich. It's my 1st destination from hbf. They have the best brutal curry wurst mit pommes!!

Four coins instead of five- very easy because there is still berlin and the pott- and before you have to respect!...Otherwise just good. Easy to use and friendly, sauce- and this is the most important- fruity, available in various sharpening and with own character. good lot of sauce and good ketchup and mayo. also the pommes are crispy and good.

The mountain wolf is a currywurst bude in which you can eat for normal money at night.
