During a visit to Munich in December we stayed at a hotel near this restaurant in Pasing. The restaurant was recommended by the staff at the hotel. It is certainly a local hang-out as there are regular customers who we saw during our stay....The service is not great, but the food and the drinks more that compensate for the slow service. What Andre Blank doesn't like about Bayrisches Schnitzel- & Hendlhaus:
Having just checked into my hotel, I felt I needed to dine in a local restaurant to eat some German cuisine. About two blocks from my hotel, Bayrisches Schnitzel Hendlhaus was my choice. I ordered schnitzel and fries with a Hacker Pschorr helles lager beer....The meal was tasty and the beer complimented the dish. To Guild the Lilly I had apple strudel with ice cream. Overall a good first meal to start my Oktoberfest... View all feedback.
The Pasing branch was great. Decent food and drink at a decent price and the staff were very friendly.
The best carving I had in a very long time. service was first class and three atmosphere was so warm and friendly. they come back every time I'm going to have a good time.
During a visit to Munich in December '18 we were in a hotel near this restaurant in pasing. the restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff. it is certainly a local hang-out as it regular customers we saw during our stay....The service is not great, but eating and the drinks more that compensate for the slow service. when it comes to traditional German cuisine, this restaurant should not be missing. the goulash suppe is a winner!
We only lived one night in pasing and were looking for traditional German food and this seemed the only place in the immediate environment that offers schinitzel. the place was quite calm when we arrived and the waitress did not speak. much English, which was good in a wise way, as allowed us to try to speak something German. the food took a while to come, but the carving was excellent. I ordered a side of garden vegetables and the part was very large, how was the side part of the chips my daughter had. we found the waitress helpful how best they can be when they speak another language, and the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. we would go back for some time.
After I had just checked into my hotel, I felt that I had to eat in a local restaurant to eat German cuisine. about two blocks from my hotel was Bavarian carving house my choice. I ordered carvings and pommes with a chopper pschorr bright beer....The meal was delicious and the beer complicated the dish. in order to owe the lilly, I had apfelstrudel with ice. overall a good first meal to start my oktoberfest holiday.
